Well first of all there was no physics n chemistry in their aptitude that i had attended………one section verbal…..other mathematical and logical…..the third technical….ie some C,java…and some other crap

Well they will ask u to specify if u want to get into hardware or software ……. the interview will vary depending on ur choice….

I got placed into the VLSI division (Hardware)…the tech interview was a very tough one ……they will ask u questions in any field of electronics that u hav studied all throughout the semesters….but dont worry…a little bit of preparatin…..a a lot of self confidence can get u through…….

A word of advice….if u hav done any projects be througho with it……say iy fluently during the interview….that is half the work done…….

You shold hav excellent communication skills,,,,….they look at that too……

HR interview is a piece of cake……be confident an u r sure to get through……it doesnt take long….]

the standard of the tech interview is very hig…..especially if u opt for hardware…… but if u r ECE or any othe non IT student the if u opt for software the interview will be simpler….and will be more concentrated into ur field of studies rather that into software…..not that they wont be askin s\w…

just u can go after revising r.s agarwal. for written.
3 sections 1.verbal 2.analytical 3.technical

if cleared this with minimum cut off in each section u can go for technical interview. refresh programming subjects mainly.

interview was just for 10 minutes..if a card is given proceed to HR interview else quit,,,,

HR interview just a formality dont give any answers that would reveal negatives,,,,

if a card is not given @ the end of tech interview it means u r rejected………!!!

if its given u have cleared tech interview then come out fill that card nothing but a resume copy to be handwritten…..

hey, i got placed in wipro thru a campus interview. there were absolutely no physics, maths questions whatsoever! thank god! just 3 sections -> 1) verbal section consisting of vocab and a passage with questions. 2)analytical section and 3) technical which tested areas like c, data structures, unix, etc.
once u clear the written test, there’s a technical interview. if u’re done a mini project, make sure u’re thorough in it as a few of my friends had to write parts of the coding and they make ask questions based on that. during the tech interview, questions are mainly from ur area of interest. i was asked really simple questions such as what is a pointer, functions, diff. b/w structures and classes, diff. b/w const and #define, etc. then just a few questions about my mini project and in-plant trainings. if u’ve given a card like thing at the end of the interview, it means that u’ve cleared the tech. the hr interview was really simple. just relax, be cool and answer all questions honestly. all the best!

hope u guys liked my blog on caritor.nw i hav got into wipro which was held 3 days ago.i got selectred. abt 5000 wrote the test and 105 survived it.at the beginning we had a written test comprising of 60 qns.
verbal -15qns
aptitude-15 qns

around 360 were selected frmm it. we had our ppt.didnt take much time.then we had our technical interview.as i was eee student he asked me frm electrical machines ,power system ,c,oops,elctronics…it tokk around 20 min.he gave me an application to fill(it means u hav benn selected and u can proceed to hr,but if ur not given then u hav flunked it).after technical the number came down to 145 from 360.yeeeshthats aterrible elimination.
i filled my brochure .it asked ur personal details like marks .date of birth ,name ,places where u hav studioed,,memberships ,awards ,hobbies, ur qualities,and areas of improvemnt.this is one particular place that u need to be carefull abt coz they might ask u tell it in the hr interview abt the details u hav entered.if u dont it means ur a bragger or a liar.
i had my hr interview.he asked me to describe myself .state my qualities,areas of improvemnt,what do u expect frnm the company,why should i take u and many more.all u need to make sur is that u must be pleant and must reveal all the details as such u hav written in ur form.it took around 8 min.
