Lots of database-related questions, general architecture and optimization questions. They are not specific to the point of having you remember API and function calls, but they do ask about the high-scale projects you’ve built in the past and then drill you down on optimization.

They’re a PHP company, so expect lots of references to PHP and MySQL, even though the position asks for C++ and Java knowledge. I was told that was done to discourage the kids with bare knowledge of PHP and lack of knowledge about programming in general to apply.
